I bought this card while on vacation in Asheville, North Carolina at Sweeten Creek Antiques. I’ve always loved this painting, but I especially like this card because the image is beautiful in the sepia tones. This appears to be an old souvenir from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Incidentally, that is where you will still find this painting. It was done by French artist Pierre Auguste Cot in 1880.
