Text:  (Front):  “Macnab Burying Ground; Oilette; The Macnab”  (Back)  “Oilette Postcard, Art Publishers to Their Majesties the King & Queen.  Timor Omnis Abesto;  The Macnab.  This clan came into prominence in the 12 century.  Their territory was in the Breadalbane district of Argyllshire, but they ultimately suffered the loss of their lands for not submitting to the Crown authority.  They took part, to the number of 300, against Cromwell’s troops at the Battle of Worcester, when their chief was killed.  General Monk afterwards took specially severe measures against them.  The descendants of the ancient chiefs are now in Canada.  Their badge was ‘Comton Heath.'” GREETINGS For Your Favors in 1908 Many Thanks; For our Prospects in 1909 Much Hope; Coal and Ice, Ice and Coal.”
