Message:  “Dear brother John, after long waiting I received your card.  I was very glad to see that you happened to think of me once again.  Well, I had a good time yesterday.  I had a day of (indecipherable) and went to a Sandy School picnick. I had a nice boatride to.   Well I see you are always busy. are you going to have a big corn crop? This year, much corn to husk?  When you get time write a long letter to me once again and tell me all the news.  Well, it is bed time so I close (indecipherable)…”

This particular card falls into one of my favorite card categories:  poems and quotes.  This one has a beautiful quote from Shakespeare that I had never heard before.
