OK, I know I have the season all wrong, but I have eggs on the brain this week. It all started with this week’s blog post, where I feature a woman who makes pysanky, or Ukrainian decorated eggs. Last month, when I had first started working on that post, I went shopping at the St. Joseph Antique Auction and Market looking for prizes for the Give-Away and saw this plate. I couldn’t resist it. It may not be the right item for a Christmas table, but later on, for Easter, this plate is going to be darling. Anyway, you can spot this plate in the background of one of the pysanky pictures. For an egg plate, it’s rather small, but so pretty. It looks to me to be mid-century, which is one of my favorite Circa 19xx time periods.
Congratulations, Dalene Wampler! You are this week’s winner!
I can’t believe it, but there’s only one more give-away! There’s still time to enter. Just subscribe to my blog.
Thanks for playing!
